After a months worth of preparation I got started on the inspection of the wings that have already been 3/4 constructed by the previous owner. That's all he did to the plane. My partner and I got a complete kit less firewall fwd. It looks well constructed but on initial dimensioning of the left wing, rib g is 1/2" aft of the designated location, rib f is 3/8" aft of it's designated locationand rib d is 1/8" fwd of it's designated location. I don't think this will be an issue as long as the right wing ribs are in the same location. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Dave Keep the skids to the earth and the wind in your face |
