All, I manage a small airport not too far south of Oshkosh in Wisconsin. I would like to open the place up for an Express event. I am thinking maybe have a dinner and some hands on tips by builders for builders. The airport is 02C. I will not be looking for any airplane parking fees or airport use fees. I just want to see a bunch of express' and builders. Lets start planning this now to make it a big turnout. Rental cars are available from nearby Enterprise and others. Hotels are available and will most likely cost less. We are just minutes from Milwaukee. About a 45 minute drive from OSH. Airplane tiedowns are free at 02C as well. Just a little more info. Check out http://www.airnav.com/airport/02C for more information. Runway has had some patchwork done to it since the updates on airnav, I would upgrade it from poor to between poor and fair. The grass runways have been rolled and would be in good condition now. Airport manager phone is 262-781-4213, but I can be reached anytime on my cell 414-406-3119. Airport is volunteer run, so airport phone may be answered by someone who has no clue from time to time. |
