Hello, Everyone.

Be sure to read the announcement of an F16 fighter pilot who just bought an Express and will be attending EAC BA in February.

Also, be sure to read the announcement of our new ad in Pilot Getaways magazine.

Congratulatons to Jim Van Wychen! Jerry Pearson, our local DAR, awards Jim his air worthiness certificate for N648VW.

Not only that, but the big IO-550 Continental engine started on the first crank.

This is a press release that Express Aircraft Company is sending out as an announcement at Oshkosh. We're expanding our customer base, and this announcement should be of particular interest to builders in the East:

Wicks Aircraft Supply, a trusted name in the aviation industry for 30 years,
is expanding their strong customer support into aircraft construction with
their new Builder Education Center.

Realizing that prospective builders can use a partner in the selection,
construction and flight training process, Wicks has teamed up with three
aircraft kit manufacturers with proven designs.

Anchoring the product line with a true four-place, long distance cruiser
is the Express 2000FT. The Express carries 140 gallons of fuel in addition
to 935 pounds of payload. Using a Continental FADEC engine and Aero Composites
prop it cruises at a solid 190 knots.

With an FAA approved syllabus, the Wicks Builder Education Center takes
the customer through a six-week construction process that can take the lone
builder years to accomplish.

The Wicks Builder Education Center is located in the St. Louis region at
Shafer Metro-East Airport (3K6) and augments the Express Aircraft Builder
Assist
facility in Olympia, WA.

In addition to the Express 2000FT Wicks also provides builder education
programs for the Titan Tornado, and T-51 as well as the Czech-built Carbon
Sting and Star Sport. For more information visit the Wicks Web site at www.wicksaircraft.com
and the Express Aircraft site at www.express-aircraft.com.
