I flew my S90 yesterday from Winnsboro, LA airport
(f89). The airplane flew as advertised with no major squawks. Empty wt. 1953, 155kts @3000ft. 75% power. IO540 (250hp), Hartzell 3 blade prop.
I am looking forward to flying off the test period and making the major flyins asap. It is still unpainted with no avionics.

Congratulations, Wayne! Would be interested in your experiences, lessons learned, and successes in dealing with the FAA DAR. I should get my Auriga (Kit #15, according to the paperwork) flyable in the next few weeks. I've pieced the paperwork together with a history from the original owner to the person I purchased the kit from. I'll be dealing with the DAR around SSI (either Jacksonville, FL, or one of the folks nearby in Georgia), so it won't be the same person as you dealt with. Still, the program you laid out, paperwork, and procedures presented would give me a starting point. The EAA chapter at SSI (tech advisor is the previous owners good friend) is also assisting. You can send me the info off line at my email: f15epilot@cox.net

Thanks.

Again, congratulations from a former Ruston-ite.

Chuck
