Heres some pic's of our plane. Homebuilt Supercharger installation and Homebuilt Computer Engine Gauges seem to be working well. Expect first flight this weekend.

Thanks Terry my dad and I are pretty proud, we received an airworthy Cert Saturday and am preparing for the first flight. It has been a long 10 1/2 years and were glad to be near the first flight. But we are very proud to be able to say we did it all, no hired help. It has been a real education in determination. |

Congratulations for your very nice looking airplane! Let us know about your performance numbers once you know how the supercharger performs. Fair skies and on your longer flights tailwinds all the way Hans Georg Schmid |

Thanks again guys, N363RJ had its first flight today and other than the prop governor running a little slow all was well. |

Rob. Congratulations. What a wonderful event for you. We loved your colour (color) scheme and may very well seek your permission to use similar colours for ours. regards. Kevin (from Downunder) |

Rob, congratulations. Looks awesome. What type of seats are those? If they are car seats, do you have a close-up photo of the seat tracks? Thanks, Ali

Thanks Ali, they are Chevy S10 pickup seats. I don’t have any pictures of the rails. The four of them did cost us 10 LBS of weight over four standard seats that another builder built, had padded well and covered, he did add a headrest to all of them. The front use the rails to adjust and the rear are fixed. They fold forward and recline, include a headrest, and have pockets for maps etc. Best of all we paid $160 for all four ready to bolt in. They fit almost like their made for the plane. They do raise you up some and you have to make new sticks but I’m 6’ 3” and fit fine in both front and rear. |

Just thought that I'd post a 'builder' picture.Seats are from a Mazda Miata, and slide in front, are fixed in back. Wings are in the background. Main door and baggage doors are fitted and latched. Flap motor installed in old location(center rear). Next will be to install windows(except front). Everyone fits! Happy building! |
