I finally got 336FS out of paint and onto the ramp at Eglin after letting hurricane Frances pass by over Labor Day. This past weekend, my wife and I took her on her first trip cross country. We spent the night at Barksdale AFB, Bossier City, LA (home of 8th Air Force). The guys at Barksdale obviously recognize beauty (the wife and the plane; obviously not the builder). Here's where they parked us. Though I never flew the B-52, I have to admit even it looks better with an Express parked nearby. Thanks to Rob for inspiring the paint scheme--I tried not to copy it too much! Chuck

Yep... even an old Buff looks good next to her. Must be the modern "Beauty and the Beast". |

I think your paint job is awsome! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have ours. |

Express N49PJ receives certification on Dec. 21 and flys for first time on the 22. First flight with a Chev 350 LT1 has a first uneventful flight. |

Congratulations to a great looking bird! By the way: I am jaleous, as here in Switzerland it is grey and humid with light rain and snow... Any news about your engine and its installation would be welcome. All the best and good luck! HG |
