must have loaned my proceedures to some one .
can anyone tell me how many layers of bid should be on the inside of the upper fuse ct tail were the quarters join the upper fuse? also using standard throttle,prop,mix controls. were did most penatrate the fire wall ? and are we putting the battery on the firewall using io540 standard hub? or does it go behind bulkhead162?

The best I can remember is that 4 layers are required. I will check my docs tomorrow and will advise if different.
Our engine controls all go through the firewall just above the nose gear attach bracket.
We have a 540 with a standard hub and we have our main battery and and aux battery (all electric panel)located behind blkhd 162. Even at that we tend to be at the forward end of the envelope with no loading in the rear seats.
