I desperately need information on the location of wing chord line on the fuselage side. My fuselage is a really early one dating back to 1990. Unfortunately the chord line scribe lines are missing. What I have on the fuselage is the WL40 and Sta. 89. Can anyone who has the chord line marks on the fuselage, guide me in locating and drawing the chord line on the fuselage sides? The reference can be started at Sta89 and intersection of WL40 lines. Help! |

Sorry Cyrus, I lost the posting. The "water line" on the Express is parallel to the flat bottom of the forward portion of the fuselage. With a "smart level", measure the bottom fore and aft and transfer that angle to the side of the fuselage using a small scribe line. Then establish a line 2 degrees positive from that which will then be your "wing chord" line. Chances are you will still find the original lines as they were very hard to see. Builders should know this information as they may need to find the water line after the aircraft is finished and the lines are gone. Hope this helps. Email me or call if you need further clarification. Jerry
