I am looking for a complete set of wing kit, including the latest landing gear brackets (two half U channels) and possibly Aluminum Landing gear legs (Groves). The kit must be complete with all associated hardware, e.g. aileron torque tube, fittings, flap torque tubes, flaps, ailerons fuel pick up tubes tubes etc. Etc. I am also looking for the canopy glass Kit (single door version) I will pay the last retail price that was being sold just before the closure of the Express company. Will also pay for crating and shipping. Any one who might have given up on their project my want to sell the wing kits. I can be contacted by email: ostowari@optusnet.com.au |

Anybody hear from this guy? I sent him an email the day the request showed up and he hasn't answered...I have two wings, flight controls and almost all the hardware to make it happen...One wing is still in the crate, the other has had some ribs installed, but not closed...I think all that is missing is some bearings and aileron hardware that I used on the other airplane, otherwise complete. I have an unstarted and still in the crate, mostly complete KIT, from 1989. It is for sale. Please make a reasonable offer. It has always been stored inside. I purchased the kit from the family of the original purchaser. grant... 805 878 3188.. santa maria, california ( near santa barbara ) |

From the Factory. Go to our web site ,we have posted assembly drawings for the F-5 wing,Thes drawings were never completed by the previous owners. These are For the F-5 wing,But the Fixed gear details can also be used on the old wing,& increases the strength. There is also information about a nose gear mod. |

Shawn Kelley fly in ,at Cottage Grove Oregon: Not many Express Flyers there, Shawn Kelley, Jim Ward, Don Gray a builder, & one other Express Builder,& Darrell Peterson. I personally want to thank Shawn Kelley & his Wife for their kind hospitality & the wonderful food that was provided. It was most inspiring to meet some of the other people that were there, pilots & some were builders. I was able to talk with people that knew a lot about the building of the Howard Hugh's replica & the dedication that it took to build it, all together it was a very nice day. Sorry for all of the Express flyers that could not make it, you missed a good time, maybe next year? |

A suggestion----don't even think about using them as there were many-many problems. Best choice is the steel legs or the aluminum (which are much stiffer than the steel). I had great success with the steel on my N360EZ. Jerry Sjostrand |

I have a set of fiberglass main gear that Larry Olson was making just before he changed over to the aluminum main gear. The fiberglass mains that Larry was producing are far superior to the original Wheeler Express fiberglass mains. |
