I have attached a troubleshooting guide that can help you with your engine maintenance and troubleshooting. This can also be used for just about any horizontally opposed engine, just use common sense on things like firing order and specific components to the model of the engine.

If you have any questions regarding specificity of a specific engine, I have the maintenance, illustrated parts catalog, service bulletins and ovehaul manuals to most 4 and 6 cylinder Lycoming engines.

I also have the same for the Cessna 120-180 series aircraft and most helicopters, to include Robinson.
