I finally have heat. I got a muff from Customaircraft.com, it is SS 3.5"x8" with 2" air inlets/outlet. It is a tight fit on the left side. I have a 2" flanged tube sticking up through the front baffel on the left side right behind the cowl inlet, I beveled it to catch the incoming air, a 2" scat hose feeds the muff and up to the heater box on the FW. It is a "fire hose" of warm air that's for sure.
I also hooked up my oil cooler heat tube again. Dispite what I have been told, it was 40 degrees OAT, oil temp of 165 and I was getting nice warm air off the cooler. The heat may have been coming off the engine as much as the oil but I won't argue with warm air. That seems to be a problem with lgt planes.
Now to get my nav working.
