Re: Found this Auriga Express for sale
@kevin (not sure how to tag someone) would probably be the best to answer but I'll start with what I *know (*what I was told by Darrell) The Auriga updates were mostly taken into the 2000. I only have this via word of mouth as I have not seen or located any official "Auriga" documentation ...

Re: CT for sale!
Is yours the one that was at TDO last summer? I saw it when I was down there, it is a pretty bird. Marshal is coming to help me with my S90 Auriga.

Re: 2000 RG questions
I'll add a few things. My express CT has been a work in progress for years. I bought my first set of wings back in 1989. The project sat for many years. I was not happy with my wing construction so I was able to pick up another wing kit about 5 years ago. It's still a work in progress. I've been th...

Siemens SP260D
The dawn of electric propulsion is upon us. There will be a tipping point when the storage hits 500Wh/kg (presently around 300-350Wh/kg). All the major aircraft companies and even airlines are investing in research. Ths SP260D is about 350hp, SP200D is about 250hp. I think that once I can stuff enou...

Re: Pre-buy inspection
Seems Darrell had made reference to some design changes on the main gear back in 2010: http://www.express-builder.com/old/forum/messages/2/68.html?1292868441 Posted on Friday, September 03, 2010 - 04:53 pm: Jorge Baccaro, We have just completed new assembly drawings for the new Grove aluminum landin...

Re: Pre-buy inspection
Thanks Phil. Erik's already given some good info above but one other thing I've heard a lot about checking out are the landing gear and their associated attach points. I can't put my finger on the post, but I seem to believe that the increased gross weight of 3200lb up from 2895lb only came with the...

For the engine, refer to your a&p for guidance, as for the airframe, contact Darrell, darrellpeterson@compairtechllc.com or call Composite Aircraft Technology +1-360-864-6271 for an official list. Kevin, the admin here also might have other insights.
