sorry, it won't be me as i am staying home to WORK on my new plane. But Express builders are welcome to stop by and go for a flt in our EX2K, I am always looking for a reason to keep the cam lubed. We could always host an Express fly-in at Norris Field.

What are you working on now, Wayne??

When I renewed my insurance with Bob Sorrel who is out in Olympia he mentioned that Express was in process of being sold to a company that already marketed four models (he said) of experimental aircraft. He said he was in touch with Roy and Nancy and was maintaining contact so he would know status of the company. Appears the company's fortunes affect my ability to get hull coverage. Without a sure source of replacement parts I have to live with liability coverage only. BTW the insurance is with AIG and costs about 1600/year. Can't remember the limit coverage right now.

Hmmmm.... Four models... The speculation begins...

360/ES/IV/Legacy ?
Super Pulsar/Super Cruiser/Pulsar XP/Pulsar 150 ?
GlaStar/III/II/Sportsman 2+2 ?

Who else?

Guys: If this helps, the rumor is that it is some "rich dude" from Texas. And that he is borrowing some big $$$ to purchase several A/C companies at the same time and that he is going to purchase EAC (debts and all) and reopen. We shall see. I am a skeptic as you all know. It sounds too good to be true to me. Now that is one hell of a rumor, don't you think? GHW

Wag Aero would be good. They are in Wisconsin, about 5 hours from me.

Regardless of who buys it, lets just all hope that they will be able to rebuild and sustain the business...
