THAT'S WHY I ASKED IF IT WAS A BUILDER, OR 511. THIS AIRCRAFT HAD WHAT LOOKED LIKE A PRIMED COWLING AND THE WHEEL PANTS MISSING.

STILL WAS A GREAT LOOKING PLANE.

HOPE YOU GUYS FIND THAT SAVIOR YOUR WAITING FOR. THERE IS NOT ALLOT OF THEM AROUND IN THE AVIATION INDUSTRY.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK GARY FOR TRYING TO BRING SOME REALITY TO THE TABLE.

THATS ALL I AM SAYING...
GOOD LUCK ALL...

This is what 511EA looked like at OSH 04.

I have talked to one builder that has a completed plane in WA, with the restrictions (probably) flown off by now. As far as I know there's no problem with custody of the plane, he just hasn't had time to go get it yet. Given the wierdness of just about everything surrounding EAC, I'll let him come forward with more information if he so chooses. I haven't heard from him lately, and don't know any more details, ie factory assist, whatever.

The airplane sitting outside Gower is my airplane N900EH. It is very close to being ready to fly. I have taxied the airplane around the ramp. There are only a couple of problems to be worked out before the first flight. One of the problems is the control strick movement being restricted by the front seats.
I have not had any help from EAC on finishing my airplane. I can thank several exemployees of EAC for getting the plane ready to go ( Bill Oberrecht, Allyn Roe, Mike Barney).

The airplane sitting at Gower is my airplane N900EH. It is just about ready to make its first flight. There are only a couple of problems that need to be worked on. I can thank several ex-employees of EAC for getting me to this point ( Bill Oberrecht, Allyn Roe, Mike Barney). There is also another Express here at Gower that is owned by Charlie Wood. It is about 2 month behind mine in construction. I have not seen 511 while I have been working on my airplane.

From Charlie Wood; As Bruce said, my airplane (N323WG)is also at Gower Flying Service at OLY. I have been working with Bill Obberecht and Mike Barney, and to date we are about 90% complete. I am lacking a cowling, wing fairings and wheel fairings, to complete the airframe. Bill is an A&P, and Mike has done the electronics on several Express airplanes. They are both very capable individuals and have done an outstanding job for me despite the odds.

Check out the EAC website - They claim that they are "re-establishing operations". Hopefully it will be positive for those still owed parts or money. We'll have to wait and see...

Charles,

Which cowl are you in need of? We have molds for 2 different cowl styles. One is what I'll call the original, although I don't know if that's true. Has the 2 narrow slits for air inlets. Other has the 2 round hole inlets.

What's everyone's guess on the new ownership?

The website says 06/05, so they have been working on it for a few weeks. Maybe we will see them at OSH?

Good luck!
