wing foam hard blocks
I think the hard blocks in the fwd and aft spars are 40lb foam. Anyone know of a source? Clark Last-A-Foam shows that density but no one I can find stocks it. I guess I could use a block of G10 but I'd rather use the 40lb (or what ever density it is).

Uni Cloth
Anyone know what the type of uni cloth used to fabricate the engine mount gussets? I have a piece from a kit that looks to be about 3' x 3' stitched to a thin mat. I've looked at Aircraft Spruce, Wicks, FiberGlast and other but none of their pictures seem to match what I have as far as the stitching...

Re: Looking for Builders/Owners of Express 2000 Airplanes
Kevin, I have had the same type of response from comp air. I asked if I could get the saddle templates for the original wing. Nothing, notta. No "we dont have them" or "here is a dfx file you will need to print them out". Nothing back. I'd also like to get the beefed up nose gear...

Thanks for the info. I've read elsewhere about doing a step like that.

Re: Winglets
Could you tell the registration. For some reason Werner Maag sticks in my mind as a person that did winglets. If it was not him I seem to recall it was not a US based Express. You might check the old forum. I know I read somewhere about someone doing winglets on a Express but I justs cannot recall w...

Static port location
CT tail express I'm not using a Piper style blade pitot/static so I need a separate static port. Any suggestions on where to locate the static port? I read a post in the old forum where they put it a few inches forward of the sta 162 bulk head (I think it is) and had issues. TIA Still working on CT ...

Re: Wing tip lights
Kevin,
How did you make those wing tip lights? Looks like they are made with clear casting resin.

Re: Old Forum
Kevin,
Is the old forum still available some where? I was looking for some old post on the mods for the almunimum landing gear and rib R (I think it was).
