No SNF for me this year
Another year comes that I will not be able to get to Sun-N-Fun. If any of you are going please let us know of any Express that show up. I'm also wondering if Composite Aircraft is selling any kits. Seems the web site is pretty dormant and I dont seem them listed as a vendor for SNF. Any of you going...

Re: Rib J
If you still have not closed your wing I would ask if you could check your spar for me. When sitting in the saddles is the spar cap level fore/aft from end to end? I thought it should be, level the length and also fore/aft. My outboard saddles seem a little off. If I level the bottom of the saddle a...

Re: CT Electric flap
Attachment upload does not seem to be working. I'll try and send you a message with the drawing. If that does not work send me a message with your email address and I'll send you the pdf. I scanned the section on the flaps. This is from the old manual that uses the teflon bearings but you can get th...

Re: CT Electric flap
Do you have all the hardware? You should have inboard and outboard tubes for both sides and a center section tube with a arm for connection to the flap motor. I think you could also retrofit the 2000 model set up in a CT wing but I have not tried. I got my flap parts from Larry Olsen. There are the ...

Re: Grove landing gear docs?
I got my gear brackets from Larry Olsen. I'll look and see what documents I have but I think you can use the 2000 docs on installing the gear. I realize the wing is different but I think the gear attach is the same. You might also try the wayback machine on the net or look for messages in the old fo...

Trim Tabs
Finishing some wing issues and got to thinking about the trim issues. I'm putting in a G3X with autopilot so I'm not too concerned about aileron trim as I'm a big fan of letting the autopilot fly XC while I look out the window. In my view the AP would take care of the aileron trim in level flight. I...

Re: Steel Landing Gear
For what it's worth I think you can still get the Aluminium gear from Grove. I got mine directly from them. I dont recall who I talked with there or if it was by email. I have not installed the gear and I have the attach fittings from Larry. If you need me to measure them or take pictures I can. I s...
